Welcome to my blog!

I would like to thank one Isaac Paine, for linking me his blog, and feeding me the idea that writing one of these would be a good idea. However foolish that idea is, in my case. Enjoy!

Hello,
I haven't blogged in a while, yet again. I'm busy, happily. It's not just because I'm lazy, I'm working on some research for much of this month, working at a festival this weekend, going to Ireland soon for the first time... It's all go! This has caused me to realise how silly I've been - although I've lived in both Wales and England, I've never been to Scotland or Ireland. Sometimes when I think about going to all of these far-off places, I forget that there are a lot of places much closer to home which have their own unique charm.
Admittedly, it's unlikely that I'll find any exotic Incan ruins or anything quite as spectacular in Ireland, but I'll give it a good chance!
Anyhow, wish me luck...

Alas, I've turned into the much maligned infrequent blogger. It's not that I have little to write about. Quite the contrary, I have plenty, just very little time in which to do it. At least, until the last few days. Have been admittedly lazy in those.
Football has taken over a little bit. So, the inevitable prediction; I feel like Germany will get to the final and lose it. Against who, I'm not really sure. If only I were a gambler.
In other news, I'm working on a project this summer which is paid! Undoubtedly a good thing, but it does mean limited time back home in Bournemouth. At least I won't come back to Uni in September saddled with debt from travelling half-way round the world again, I suppose.
If I wasn't such a spendaholic, I'm sure I could go away much more than I do...
Oh Dappy, your mantra is so helpful.

Continuing the theme of shameless procrastination, I thought I'd post this bizarre yet incredible video. Enjoy.

This made me chuckle a fair bit:

Procrastination

A while ago, I discovered a new series. I'm now hooked. The Walking Dead is a series based in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world. Sounds like two things which won't mix well, right? Wrong. Although it does have flaws, I'm enjoying the character development and plot twists that the series allows- a definite plus over films.
I've already almost finished two series, and I await more with anticipation.

How intriguing

It appears the entire format of posting on this blog has changed in my absence. Excitement!

In other news, my blog sabbatical has been curtailed once again due to that wonderful thing that is revision. So, what's happened in my life?

- Hockey
I played this a lot, and it went well. Not quite as well as I would have liked but I'm looking forward to getting even more involved in the Cardiff Redhawks next year.

- Elections
I've been elected as Innocence Officer of the Cardiff Law School Innocence Project following a slogan-heavy election campaign. Very chuffed, again massively hyped about next year!

- Law
It's difficult, and this will not be changing. I still complain, an awful lot

- Travel
Not looking like another summer-long exodus is feasible on my shoe-string budget. But a short trip would be ideal. Any ideas? I have a craving to go Gorilla-watching in Rwanda.

Erk. So much has happened, in so little time.

Here's a random factoid:
In 10th century Burma, King Theinhko ate a farmer's cucumbers without permission. The farmer killed the king and took the throne.

I just bought a guitar

And so continues the crusade of self-improvement, after having started actually going to the gym.

It's raining.

Wales is starting to bore me...

January: For once, a fairly relaxed month

I've had quite a few envious comments about my lack of exams round about now. I am very glad of the respite from work, as things go due to the need to apply for work placements for the coming summer months. However, having all of my exams at once this year is far from perfect. There'll be much more pressure and a higher workload that will see me retreat to the seclusion of my room for April, May and a fair chunk of June.
So, to all of those people complaining about exams right now, think of me this summer. I'm panicking already.
